About Pennings
Pennings Metal Recycling is based in Uden in the south of the Netherlands. From its headquarters, the company works on a variety of projects throughout Europe, with an emphasis on the centre and south of the Netherlands. We have a wide range of clients, but they all share with Pennings Metal Recycling our drive for quality.
Pennings Metal Recycling is a company that has been a regional wholesaler in ferrous and non-ferrous metals for a number of years. We have become specialised in processing and recycling metal waste and cables.
Over the years, we have built up substantial knowledge in our field and can therefore offer you a total solution for processing your metal waste.
Perhaps your company has to spend unnecessary time dealing with waste streams of metal – ferrous and non-ferrous – in addition to your core activities.
Innovative
We consciously choose to focus on innovation in our business practices. Through our involvement in new developments in the industry, we are constantly working on our company’s sustainability. We provide responsible and high-quality services that enhance and improve the living environment of our customers.
Healthy working conditions
Healthy working conditions are of paramount importance to us. We make maximum use of the products to be processed, to prevent unnecessary waste of raw materials. By constantly monitoring all forms of energy and material use in recycling, our company will minimise its impact on the environment, while these efforts will help to optimise its profitability. All these activities take place in a pleasant working atmosphere.
Certification
With NIWO (National and International Road Transport Organisation) certification, on the VIHB list, Pennings Metal Recycling meets the strict requirements that the government sets for the collection, transport and trade of industrial or hazardous waste. We also cooperate with iso-9001 and iso-14001 certified companies, which are known for their high environmental return.
Efficient enforcement of the rules and policy adjustments are desirable to prevent the generation of waste, to recover more waste and to reduce landfill. To achieve this, however, one needs an understanding of the waste streams.
For some time, Pennings Metal Recycling has been a company with a notification requirement. Using Eural codes and waste stream numbers, we report all incoming industrial and hazardous waste to the AMICE central automated notification system of the National Waste Notification Bureau (LMA).
You can bring your metal waste yourself or have us supply a container. In these cases, your metal waste will be weighed precisely in kilos and we will pay the market price applicable on that day.
