Pennings Metal Recycling acceptance policy
• Asbestos will be refused
• Tyres will be refused or costs passed on to the customer
• Non-rechargeable batteries will be refused; rechargeable batteries will be accepted
• Deduction for adherent bitumen contamination and costs will be passed on to customer
• Deduction for adherent emulsions contamination and otherwise the batch will be refused
• Explosives will be refused
• Sealed materials will be refused
• Deduction for adherent glass residue contamination and otherwise the batch will be refused
• Deduction for adherent soil residue contamination and otherwise the batch will be refused
• Underground storage tanks must be empty and accompanied by a cleaning certificate and manhole opened
• Deduction for adherent wood contamination and otherwise the batch will be refused
• Deduction for adherent plastics contamination and otherwise the batch will be refused
• Oil traces otherwise will be refused
• Paper/Cardboard will be rejected or deduction for contamination applied
• Deduction for adherent porcelain contamination (switching equipment) and otherwise the batch will be refused
• Deduction for adherent rubble/concrete contamination and otherwise the batch will be refused
• Radioactive materials will be refused
• Brake drums and similar will be accepted if asbestos-free and otherwise the batch will be refused
• Lubricant traces otherwise will be refused
• HBO tanks (above ground) must be empty and accompanied by a cleaning certificate and manhole opened
• Transformers/switching devices with oil only if oil is PCB-free
• Vats (contaminated) will be refused; usually hazardous waste
• Paint tins with contents (solid and liquid) will be refused
• Paint tins scraped empty will be accepted
• Packaging materials (no ferrous or non-ferrous) will be refused or costs passed on to customer
• Traces of fats otherwise will be refused
• Sand residues will be refused or deduction for contamination applied and costs passed on to customer
• Gas cylinders must be empty and valve removed, otherwise they will be refused or costs passed on to customer (costs for dumping gas cylinder with valve EUR 125 per unit)
